Meherun Nesa is a popular youth leader and entrepreneur from Barisal. Now she is the current president of Barisal Mahila Sramik League. Before that she working as a president of Patuakhali District Mahila Sarmik League. As a well-known face in all social, political, cultural, and religious fields, she is constantly working with people in the interest of development.

I’m here to make Barisal an even better place by helping everyone have good jobs and making sure our town grows strong. We’ll work together to build more schools and hospitals, so everyone can learn and stay healthy. I especially want to help all the amazing women in Barisal have the same chances as everyone else. Together, we can make sure everyone has a chance to shine and make our town awesome!

A short brief of Meherun’s personal life
Meherun Nesa was born on October 03, 1981. Her parents were Abdul Barek and Sultana Razia. She completed her secondary education from Amtali M.U. High School, Barguna. After passing secondary school, she got involved in student politics by cultivating the spirit of the great liberation war in 1971. After her graduation, she starts work to improve female empowerment in Barisal. Now, she is the president of the Mahila Sramik League, Barisal. Also, she connected with many businesses and organizations to develop the economy of Barisal.
A Strong History
Meherun Nesa has had an amazing journey from going to Amtali M.U. Girls High School to now being a leader in Barishal. She loves learning and went to different colleges like Barguna Govt. Women College, Patuakhali Govt. Girls College, Amtali Degree College, and Global University Bangladesh (GUB) in Barishal.
She cares a lot about helping people. Meherun Nesa started Sultana Razia Nursing Institute in Barguna and Madaripur DWF Nursing College to teach people about healthcare. She is also the Director of DWF Nursing College in Barishal and the Principal at DWF Paramedic Community Institute in Patuakhali.
Meherun Nesa thinks it’s important to support women, so she became the President of the Mohila Sromik League in the Barishal and Patuakhali Districts. She wants to make sure women have good opportunities.
Not just in education, Meherun Nesa also works in media. She is the Managing Editor at Barishal Vorer Alo. This means she helps make a newspaper that tells people what’s happening in the area.
Meherun Nesa’s life story is like a journey. She started as a student and now she’s a leader. Her work is making a big difference in the communities she serves, showing how important it is to care about others and be a leader.
